The Beverage Packing Division blends and packs Tea into consumer packs at a modern Tea blending and packaging plant, both under our own brands as well as under customers’ brands, with several internationally known brands packed at our facility.

Our Most Popular Brands

Alwazah Tea, also known as Swan Brand tea, is a range of specially blended Ceylon teas uniquely meeting the discerning tastes of the Arab world. It has been, and remains one of the most popular brands in the Arab world. Alwazah Tea is now available in 23 countries.

Our Istikan Brand, which is also a high quality blend of Ceylon teas, is extremely popular in Syria and Turkey.

Customers' Brands

We undertake packing under customers brands, from bulk to customized pack sizes, flavoured tea packs, teabags, metal canisters, gift teas, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Finlays acquired state-of-the-art tea bagging machinery i.e Italian IMA C 27's which have a capacity of producing 250 flow-through double chamber tea bags with a knotted string in place of the traditional inert aluminum staple, per machine, per minute. Three such machines has been commissioned and Finlays are first to offer this advanced technology in Sri Lanka.
