The timber preservation sector of our Environmental Services Division entered its 15^th year of operation offering a much sort after and required service for the Sri Lankan construction industry. Operating under license from Celcure (M) Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia, We are Sri Lanka's only service provider in the private sector offering a international standard timber preservation service to the construction industry any other industry using timber in various applications.

Preservation of timber is done by Vacuum Pressure Impregnation with chemical preservatives using the latest technology. The entire treatment process is subject to stringent Quality Control meeting environmental, safety and health standards prescribed by law.

The Division promotes the concept of using lesser known varieties of timber and imported timber after treatment in construction projects in order to reduce construction costs, without affecting quality. At the same time the process ensures that by treating timber, its longevity is increased thus helping to conserve Sri Lanka's forest resources.

In 1997, the division was awarded with product certification which is the "SLS" Mark for Preservation of timber.

Our range of services include technical advice, collection and delivery of timber from and to the customers site.

We are also manufactures and supplies of a range of treated wooden pallets and crates manufactured according to customer requirements. We carry stocks of standard pallets to cater to urgent requirements of customers. Our customer portfolio includes exporters, manufactures and logistics service providers By using our pallets customers are assured that no fresh infestation would take place and the pallets therefore can be used over a period of time enabling multiple use. We are in a position to supply pallets conforming to regulation no ISPM 15 for wood packaging stipulated by the International Plant Protection Convention of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
